Organic additions dominate Pates, while advertising is underused relative to other subcategories: across the reporting window, organic additions accounted for 93.3%, leaflet-driven additions for 6.5%, and ad-driven additions for 0.2%. The organic share was below that of Hummus but above that of Plant-based spreads, so it was lower than in three and higher than in two of the five other subcategories. Only 288 additions in the reporting window came from ads, leaving this channel below the ad share of three of the five other subcategories.
